Established in 2004, ISRI is the only full-time Islamic School in the state of Rhode Island. Their mission statement reads: "The Islamic School of Rhode Island is committed to inspiring excellence in our students' education, character, and personal conduct. We strive to teach them how to gain KNOWLEDGE, increase their FAITH in their daily lives, and incorporate Islam and exercise DISCIPLINE in their pursuits to benefit themselves and society."

The school has the following important distinctions:

  • It serves pre-K to 8th grade students

  • Approved by Rhode Island Department of Education (RIDE)

  • Accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC)

  • ISRI implements the Common Core State Standard

  • In addition, ISRI has a non-traditional curriculum for teaching Qur'an, Islamic Studies, and Arabic (QIA). 

  • ISRI provides an excellent environment for our students to observe an ethical and moral character.

You are welcome to attend Friday (Jumu'ah) prayers at 1:00PM, as well as Fajr (at 5:30AM) and Ishaa (at 6:15PM) every weekday.
