Beware of false information in web sites, books and videos. Unfortunately there are many out there. If something does not make sense or is uncomfortable then most likely it is not Islam. Culture plays a hug roll in misconceptions. Talking Islam Group for Women on Facebook: Join "Talking Islam group" on Facebook. It is a local connection group to converts here in Rhode Island. This group was on yahoo groups for 10 years and just moved to Facebook to make connections easier. However keep in mind if you have a private situation email or inbox is more safer. Don't ever post anything on Facebook you would not want a third party to see. Facebook is a great tool but nothing is ever 100% safe and private on line.
