R.I.'S First Islamic School Opens

WEST WARWICK: Yesterday was the first day of classes at the Islamic School of Rhode Island, in West Warwick, the first Islamic school in the state. As of yesterday, the school had an enrollment of 37 students in pre-kindergarten through third grade. Churches throughout Rhode Island sent greeting cards and flowers welcoming the new school, Ead said. “It actually gave me goosebumps and put a couple of tears in my eyes.
