If you or someone you know has been
wrongly detained or questioned, call for help any time day or night. We're not lawyers but will activate community support.

get you the help you need.If you are arrested or Questioned:
-Don't resist arrest. It's a crime to resist arrest.
-You do not have to answer any questions asked of you by police or government authorities.
-If agents enter your home or office with or without a search warrant say "I do not consent to a search".
-You have the right to make a phone call within one hour of being detained.
-Do not sign any papers waiving your rights.
-Try to get officers names and badge numbers.
-You have the right to call your consulate or have the police inform your consulate of your arrest. Keep this information in your wallet !
